VB said he is also promoter of Bella Vista colonies in Gholumajra village in Mohali.

According to the VB spokesperson, the accused was wanted in a case registered at a police station in Zira, Ferozepur district, under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, and 120-B of the IPC. The caа- se pertains to the illegal alienation of properties belonging to PACL Ltd at majra. The accused was fully aware that the Supreme Court had already restrained PACL Ltd from selling or alienating any properties in which the company had any right or interest, including those in Gholumajra, the VB spokesperson added.

Directors and promoters of Finominal Construction Private Ltd and Sanarjeevan Infrastructure and Projects Private Ltd, in connivance with others, had developed two colonies named Bella Vista-1 and Bella Vista-2 on a land measuring 115 bighas in Gholumajra on the disputed land of PACL in 2018-19.

The developers collected substantial sums of money by selling plots and houses in both colonies, leading to their nomination in the case by the VB. The spokesperson said the accused has been taken on transit remand and will be produced in a court in Punjab.
