FIR against property dealer for attempted house grab.
Chandigarh: The UT police have filed a case against a property dealer and 11-12 others for allegedly attempting to forcibly take possession and trespass in a four-kanal house in the VVIP area of Sector 2 on Friday. At the time of the incident, three women were in the house. No arrests have been made.

Kamaldeep Kaur, 59, along with her mother, Rajin-mder Kaur Gill, 94, and sister, Paramjit Kaur, 65, submitted a written complaint to the SSP, after which a case was registered at Sector 3 police station.
A day after the incident, the accused, Satinder Singh Dhaliwal, and an advocate arrived outside Kamaldeep’s house. The police were informed, and they took both parties to the police station.
Kamaldeep alleged that on April 11, around 11 am, 11 to 12 armed individuals forcibly entered their house. Allegedly sent by property dealer Satinder Singh Dhaliwal, the intruders were equipped with iron rods, hammers, and a pistol.
They claimed to have orders to take 50% possession of the house and began installing wires. When the women protested, they were threatened with death, and the electricity and telephone lines were disconnected.
