PARENTS OF GIRL WHO COMMITTED SUICIDE ALLEGED SUICIDE NOTE AS FORGED

On July 3rd, a girl of class 10th had allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from ceiling fan of her class room. The school authorities, however, allegedly cremated the body of 14 year old in Bhangel without informing police. Police got to know about the case only after parents appealed to UP government for justice. But, the chancellor of the school accused the girl’s family for stopping the authorities from informing the police.

The girl’s school that allegedly hid the suicide came out with a suicide note on 13th July in which the girl had purportedly written that no one is responsible for her death. The girl’s parent’s alleged note was forged, pointing out that writing did not match their daughter’s. They also alleged that the note was an attempt to mislead the police. “When we reached the school on July 3, we were told that our daughter had left a suicide note in which she had blamed me for the extreme step. We pleaded with them to show us the note, but they refused. The writing on the note released on Monday is not my daughter’s. A 14 year old girl who wants to commit suicide will not write such a clean note,” the Mother said.

“There is no reason for my death, neither the school nor my parents. I don’t have any reason to live and every human being lives for a reason. As it is, I had become a burden on everyone. Mother, I had become burden on you. You will get what you want,” read the note that was recently circulated. Earlier, parent’s found a new notes in her school bag in which she had scribbled how she was ‘wronged’ and was upset with her life because she did not have any friends. Girl’s mother demanded notes written by the girl earlier and recent one to be examined by a hand writing expert.

“In the note, the girl has mentioned that nobody is responsible for her death. We have asked her parents to give us whatever they consider evidence” said Additional DCP (NOIDA) Ranvijay Singh. He also added ACP (Women’s safety) would visit the girl’s family in Haryana and an FIR would be lodged after a complaint is filed.

Meanwhile, discrepancies emerged in the receipt issue by Bhangel cremation ground authorities. The receipt says that girl died at home and cause of death is mentioned as fever.
