The court upon hearing the arguments dismissed the bail application. The police are yet to arrest the accused and the slow action on the part of authorities have angered the medical students who had protested outside the police post in the hospital premises. The doctors were also anguished by the fact that it almost took a week to suspend him from the hospital. However a letter dated July 3 mentions that the accused was immediately placed under suspension for not appearing before the sexual harassment committee and a case against him was internally under investigation.
