It is real difficult to get government jobs nowadays and it is no longer that easy to stay in these jobs as well as government has fixed accountability for everyone.
So your one mistake at work can prove costly in case you are found at fault.
You may be suspended from job on any of the following grounds:
1 Dereliction of Duty.
2 Registration of a criminal case.
3 Involvement in some scam or incident controversial to public interest.
4 Where delinquent official continuing in office will seriously impair the investigation /trial or enquiry pending.
5 Serious charges of corruption levelled against the official
6 Any other pressing reason where it is appropriate to suspend official.
Recently a Haryana minister recommended suspension of four officials plus ASI police on account of dereliction of duty.

Here are facts of the case:
1 four officials of HSVP (Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran) including SDO and Jr. Engineer plus two ASI’s of Panipat police.
2 The HSVP officials were involved in demolishing the 100 square yards of the complainant despite of the fact she possessed all legal documents and fulfilled criteria without any notice.
3 Whereas police officials are recommended for suspension since they supported accused to go free in a criminal case. Now that case is opened again and the reinvestigation is going on, truth is yet to come out.
4 The department yet has to take stock of the situation and take action as per recommendation.
5 But the minister is clear that rule of law will prevail above all.
One must be diligent and sincere on duty otherwise these acts of negligence can come in his/her way of career progression.
Rest, one can always challenge these suspension orders from government job by taking assistance from any of the expert /top/best service lawyers/advocated of Punjab & Haryana High Court, Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) or Armed Forces Tribunal ((AFT) Chandigarh. Punjab Education Tribunal at Mohali Forest complex is also applicable.
