Though the charges were under POCSO act, she was granted bail on scores of ill health and being a mother of two girls.

The case rocked the city when the stories appeared in the newspaper. It is highly unusual of a female  teacher sexually abusing a boy of class 10th.

Though it will be too early to say anything on merits but yes the mentality has to shift from only male being the abuser not females.

The complaint got registered with the help of Childline , a child helpline for the safety of children.
